At the California Institute of Technology

James Bowden

I don’t care how God-damn sexy
their technology is: I’m nauseous.

The Romans created sewage systems eons ago
and the guy next door refuses to flush the toilet.

This takes its form and inspiration from Richard Brautigan’s “At the California Institute of Technology”. He was poet-in-residence at Caltech! The odds! This also reminds me about how a large part of Bill Gates’ polio eradication campaign was literally just installed sewage systems in all of these third world countries. Jesus.
